Condoms are biodegradable

I am reminded by an article I read in the book "Facts and Fallacies" which I received years ago from Brainero Rotary Club in Bainero, Minn., USA. The article said there was a time when the aristocratic French, including the elitist Parisians, slaughtered not only dogs but also cats and rats for food.

When the Franco-Prussian War got heated up in 1870-71, hunger stalked France. The French ran out of livestock and poultry forcing them to resort to slaughtering dogs, cats and rats for food. One restaurant cooked up recipes even our hungry people never heard of. Samples of the recipes included in the menu: Dog liver kebabs, cat stew with mushroom, rat stew, dog leg with small rats, sliced saddle of cats with mayonnaise sauce, dog shoulder with tomato sauce..

So, Bai, if someone from a so-called advanced country outside of Asia sneers at us Asians for eating dog meat, tell him straight in the face: "Look who's talking." Hahaha.
