Honest taxi driver

- The Ear -

NEWS DROP. A cab driver of Cristof taxi with plate no.GXG899 saw two huge bundles of newspapers worth thousands of pesos in the middle of the road near the pier area at 3am last Friday, November 27. He picked them up and brought them to another newspaper company. The people there told him that they are the property of The Freeman. He returned the bundles of newspaper to The Freeman office that same early morning.

HONESTY. A mediaman got onboard that same taxi and learned of the cab driver’s honesty. The driver told him that people encouraged him to sell the newspapers instead of returning them. He said, “Gi ingnan bitaw ko ‘ibaligya lang na ‘Bay. Halin kaayo nang Banat. Dako kang makuwarta ana.’ Pero ako silang giingnan nga maluoy ko sa drayber atong nakatagak sa newspaper kay basin pabayron.” The mediaman told him, “Salamat kaayo sa imong honesty. Lisod na karon makita ang sama nimo ka honest.”
