The entire nation turns yellow

YELLOW. As Filipinos mourned the death of late President Corazon Aquino, the entire nation turned yellow, the color identified with this woman who became the symbol of Philippine freedom. Streets and trees displayed yellow ribbons and flaglets. Even this newspaper’s editorial printed the solid block of yellow color as tribute to Aquino. That color said it all.
