Beware of this pickpocket wearing white shirt, faded jeans

PICKPOCKET ATTIRE. An Ear informer heard a jeepney driver warn his passengers of a notorious pickpocket who victimize passengers onboard jeepneys. The driver said this pickpocket always wears white T-shirt, faded denim jeans and a backpack that he places in front of his body. He said this criminal would use his backpack to hide his hand as he lifts valuables off his victim’s bags. The driver said, “Babaye ra ba gyud biktimahon. Busa pagbantay gyud mo kung taparan mo aning tawhana nga mag puti T-shirt ug faded nga maong.”

OVERSEAS CALL. A nurse from the United States called up her family last Sunday warning them that she heard of a group of Filipinos who are on their way back to the Philippines from Mexico. The nurse said that this group of Filipinos went to Guadalupe, Mexico on a pilgrimage. She gave this warning to her family: “Pagbantay mo diha kay basin naa na silay pasalubong nga deadly virus. Ayaw mo’g kumpiyansa.”
