Fine for painted over plates sought

PAINTED PLATES. A reader called up to ask if traffic agencies are punishing vehicle owners whose car plates have been painted over. The reader who calls himself a concerned citizen is posing this question since he said that these car plates can’t easily be read should the need arise since have they been painted over. He said, “Ambot ngano naa gyuy daghan mga plaka sa sakyanan nga gipintalan. Nagpakabana ba kaha ang CITOM or LTO ani.”

CRIME RELATED. This concerned citizen said that vehicle plates painted over must be fined or prohibited since he said these vehicles might be used by criminals. He said, “Dali ra kaayo ni magamit sa mga kriminal kay dili man makita ang plaka sa sakyanan. Lisud ma-identify ang sakyanan nga gamiton isip get-away vehicle sa mga kriminal.”
