CLEAR VIOLATION. A political science teacher wanted to send a message to voters this election: Do not vote for candidates whose names and faces are nailed to the trees. She said, "Wala gyuy konsiyensiya ning mga kandidato nga ipanglansang ilang nawong ug ngalan sa mga kahoy. Ayaw gyud botar aning mga tawhana."
UNIVERSITY SHUFFLE. A concerned student wrote to The Ear desk to express her disappointment at the newly elected officials of a school board. She said, "What bothers me the most is that both (officers) do not even have college degrees. How can I and my fellow students be inspired to learn from an institution when our new leaders cannot even manage to get themselves an education?"
