Two Cebuana balikbayans shed tears at Pilgrim Center

BALIKBAYANS IN TEARS. Two middle aged Cebuana balikbayans who attended one of the novena masses at the Pilgrim Center of the Basilica del Sto. Niño were seen shedding tears as they joined in the singing of the song "Bato Balani" which is a tribute to the Sr. Sto. Niño. After the mass, the two balikbayans were heard saying: "Ambot uy. There's something in that song nga makapatindog sa atong balhibo. We're touched gyud. Mitu gyud among luha."
CREDENTIALS SOUGHT. A young businessman courting an equally young woman said when he was introduced to her parents, the father asked the suitor to present to him some credentials including a PRC certificate, police clearance, health/medical certificate, etc. The woman said: "Gihimo ning papa kay duna siyay nabasahan niadto sa The Ear bahin sa usa ka amahan nga nihimo niini."
