What happened during the Sinulog

THE SAN DIEGO DANCERS. A Ear source reported getting the laugh of her life when she heard a misinformed local radio announcer misintroduce a popular dance troupe.

"And now we see the San Diego dancers," the announcer said over the air as the dancers passed by, "they have come all the way from San Diego, California."

The Ear source could not help herself and burst out in guffaws.

THE LOCAL WHO NEVER DID. A woman who had confessed to never ever paying homage to the Holy Child even though she lives in Cebu said she was shamed by a balikbayan couple who told her that they came all the way from the states to be here.

"Sa ilang istinoryahan klaro kaayo sila nga dili ingun ana kadato," she said, "apan nanganhi gyud sila bahalag nagkalisod."

The woman decided to pay her respects next year.
