ASEAN Summit not the sex workers' bonanza day

- The Ear -
NOT THEIR DAY. A sex worker said in an interview with a newspaper reporter, "Kining ASEAN Summit wa gyuy ayo para namo. Di ming kasapi ini." The girl, already tipsy after one drink too many, explained that the delegates who are all heads of state would not reach out to them. "Dili gihapon ming katilaw sa ubang langyaw nga manganhi atol sa Summit kay bantayan man mi og higpit sa mga polis kinsa mao ray among matilawan libre," the talkative sex worker said.

INVASION OF LUZON GIRLS. The same sex worker also said that the income of local commercial sex workers have dropped in recent months because of the influx of "competitors" from Luzon. "Kadaghanan sa mga babaye sa bars karon Tagalog-speaking," she said. "Duna kunoy sindikato nga nidaa nila dinhi sa Cebu." She added: "Di ba mahimong mangayo mig proteksiyon sa mayor?"
