CHEAP CHANGE. The Ear was told by an informer that a supermarket along Colon St. does not give out exact change to customers. The informer said, "Nipalit ko sa ilang pharmacy. They asked me for five centavos na kulang. I gave them 25 cents but they didn't give me back my 20 centavos." The informer said she later went to the grocery department. Again, her change was 20 centavos short.
CRABBY CASHIER. The informer also told The Ear that one customer who was behind her asked for her exact change which was five centavos short. "Gi ingnan niya nga kulang singko ang sukli sa cashier. Gihatag sa cashier ang singko sentimos pero nagmug-ot ang nawong." The cashier was later heard telling her another cashier in the next counter, "Sus baya tong bayhana, pati ang singko sentimos, daginuton pa gyud." The informer is wondering if the government agency concerned is aware of this.
