Blackpink’s Jisoo brings ‘Lights, Love, Action!’ to Manila in first solo fan meet
BLACKPINK’s Jisoo expressed her love for Filipino BLINKs by etching a “montage of memories” in their minds and hearts during her “2025 JISOO ASIA TOUR: LIGHTS, LOVE, ACTION!” in Manila. The Philippine leg was the first stop of her Asia tour, presented by Collective Touring Philippines.
The singer-actress was back in the country two years after the “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]” concert in Bulacan.
Complemented with blazing flame effects, she kicked off her first-ever solo fan meet at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Friday with a zealous performance of earthquake along with her all-female backup dancers.
She briefly left the stage after her dazzling opening number and returned to engage in conversation with the host Jessica Lee for the “LIGHTS” segment. Jisoo admitted she was “nervous at first” but when she saw the enthusiastic faces of BLINKs, her jitters disappeared and were replaced with excitement.
She mentioned that the most meaningful song for her was Your Love because she felt the sentiments of the track every time she would sing it. She also recommended Korean pancakes as the food that she would want Filo BLINKs to try.
“Tough, cool and cute” was how she described her personality. The audience nodded and cheered in agreement.
If there was one moment she could relive in her career, it would be the performances she did at her shows. “They are very precious to me. And like today, this is my first fan meet,” she told the crowd.
Given the chance, she would also like to show BLINKs her favorite hangout spot in BLISSOO building, which is the space where they practice, and the rooftop.
In the next part of the program, “LOVE,” Jisoo displayed her album decorating flair where she placed key charms and stickers on a frame using a glue gun.
She admitted that she was not that confident with her decorating skills but she nevertheless did it for her legion of fans.
Among the items that she attached to the frame were the Amortage word sticker, which is the title of her newly dropped EP, peach mango pie, kwek-kwek and jeepney decors. She even penned “mahal kita” on the frame using a purple marker and said that purple is her favorite color.
Jisoo would occasionally make a heart gesture and utter “mahal kita” to the delight of the fans. The crowd, including kids chaperoned by their moms, would illuminate The Big Dome with pink light sticks that were pleasing to see.
Jisoo got ready for her next act and rendered a cutesy performance of Your Love and TEARS with her backup dancers.
A quick break followed and she went back on stage with an all-black ensemble and a braided hairstyle. The host and the eventgoers taught her Tagalog phrases, such as “mahal ko kayo,” “masaya ba kayo?” and the expression “charot.”
In the “ACTION” portion, Jisoo played charade with select fans. She guessed the movie title, object and job categories where one winner emerged after a tiebreaker between the two participants.
She held the audience captive when she rendered a lively act of Hugs & Kisses and then took a photo with the crowd.
“This is my first time to do my solo fan meet,” she told the spectators. “I was actually very much looking forward to it but also worry. But right now, having this time with you, I guess it was so much fun that the time just flew. I just really wanna tell you how much happy I am spending time with the BLINKs. Thank you.”
Jisoo also extended her gratitude to her team that helped her pulled of her first solo fan meet. “So now, it’s time to say goodbye with my last song,” she teased the fans.
She carried on with a sultry staging of Flower, accompanied with red stage lighting and a blast of confetti. The audience sang along and bopped to the catchy tune of Flower.
But the Filo BLINKs wanted more. So, they patiently waited for Jisoo to pop up again on stage while being entertained by some fans who performed the Flower dance routine.
Well, Jisoo didn’t disappoint. All eyes were on her as she came out and roamed around the VIP area while singing All Eyes on Me. It was an unforgettable encounter for the fans who rushed in to take photos of their lovely and charming K-pop idol.
Jisoo ascended to the stage and threw heart balls to the crowd. The Filo BLINKs took home that piece of memorabilia with them, along with the fun memories they had with Jisoo that night.
Jisoo wrapped her show by taking a video with the fans and said, “mahal kita,” once again.
