MANILA, Philippines — Talent manager Angeli Pangilinan assured the public that her husband, multi-faceted artist Gary Valenciano, or Gary V, is now okay after the concert performer had to cut short his concert last night.

In a series of Facebook posts, Angeli gave updates on her husband’s health following Saturday night’s concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Gary was scheduled to hold a two-day concert on Friday and on Sunday at the Big Dome.

“Vitals are all normal and he is resting but we need to pray for wisdom about tomorrow’s concert,” Angeli wrote on Facebook (FB).

“I’m trying to use my FB page to communicate as you all have the same questions. Sugar ok. BP ok. Creatinine ok. He is ok. Just weak from all the throwing up - from the stage to the stretcher is what happened but he is ok now. Just weak,” she added.

Angeli said that she received almost 4,000 messages on one app alone on top of other messaging apps she has regarding Gary V’s condition. News broke out late Friday evening that the singer-songwriter’s concert was cut short.

On Friday night, Angeli posted about Gary ingesting something and vomiting “so many times.”

"He ingested something and vomited so many times in the last two hours. He wasn’t sure he could do this concert. The doctors were backstage and he had an IV … and he said he wants to do it! But he has since sang six songs.. changing the repertoire … please continue to pray," she said.

Gary V himself reposted his wife’s Facebook post that had earlier informed her fans that he was okay.

“He’s okay everyone ! Good vitals, alive, strong heart and just a tad bit dehydrated!!! Blood pressure is normal so is blood sugar. God is good!!!! Thank you to everyone who watched the show, prayed for us,” Angeli wrote in an earlier Facebook post on Friday.

The post came with Gary V assuring his fans that he is okay.

“Hey, guys. I’m getting better. Good people taking care of me. I’ll be okay, don’t worry. God bless,” Gary V said in the video.

Gary V was slated to stage his "Pure Energy: One More Time" on December 20 and 22 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
