Sleeping man shot dead in QC

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified assailant killed a man after breaking into his home in Quezon City Friday night.

Christian Liscano, 22, was asleep in his house on Empire Hilltop street in Barangay Payatas B when two men drove up on a motorcycle at around 9:20 p.m.

A witness told police the back rider entered Liscano’s house and shot him four times in the chest with a .45 caliber pistol.

The gunman went outside but returned a few seconds later and shot the victim three more times before fleeing.

Investigators recovered five fired cartridge cases and three bullets at the scene.

They are checking if Liscano’s murder is drug-related.
