Pregnant woman raped, stabbed dead

LAGUNA, Philippines   â€“ A five-month pregnant woman was found dead with three stab wounds and apparently raped in a grassy lot in San Pablo City on Wednesday morning, police said.

Probers said there were indications that the victim, Alelie Prado, 23, was molested before she was killed.

Prado’s body was dumped on a road a meter away from Sampaloc Lake. A passer-by found it at around 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said the victim had stab wounds in the chest and had no underwear, and a piece of cloth was stuffed in her mouth.
