MANILA, Philippines — Pop star Janet Jackson is returning to the Philippines after over a decade for a one-night concert at the Araneta Coliseum.

Concert promoter Live Nation Philippines announced that Janet will perform several of her best hits in Manila on March 13, 2024.

Pre-selling of ticket via the promoter will be on November 24 at 10 a.m. while the general selling is the following day at noon.

The Manila leg of Janet's concert is part of her "Together Again" concert tour which wrapped up visits to North America last month and will see her perform two nights in Honolulu, Hawaii before arriving in Manila, and then three concerts in Japan.

The tour gets its name from her single of the same name found in her sixth album "The Velvet Rope," the eponymous song appearing in the tour's setlist.

Among Janet's other hits include "Scream," "All For You," "That's The Way Love Goes," and "Got 'Til It's Gone," all of which she has performed on the tour.

The last time Janet visited the Philippines was for a show at the Philippine International Convention Center in 2011.

The singer is the sister of the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, himself a favorite artist among Filipinos as well.
