'Frozen 4' announced as Hong Kong Disneyland's 'World of Frozen' nears opening
MANILA, Philippines — "Frozen 3" has yet to be released but a fourth movie is already being simultaneously developed, according to Disney's Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger.
Iger broke the news to "Good Morning America" while in Hong Kong Disneyland which on November 20 will open to the public the "World of Frozen" — the first "Frozen" theme park in any Disney property.
"'Frozen 3' is in the works, and there might be a 'Frozen 4' in the works too," Iger said. "But I don't have much to say about those films right now. Jennifer Lee, who created the original 'Frozen' and 'Frozen 2,' is hard at work with her team at Disney animation on not one but actually two stories."

Songwriter Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who along with Filipino-American husband Robert Lopez penned songs from the "Frozen" films including major hit "Let It Go," confirmed the development on X (formerly Twitter).
The Lopezes will return to write more songs for the planned "Frozen" sequels.
The opening of "World of Frozen" in Hong Kong Disneyland comes a decade after the first "Frozen" came out in theaters.
Both films involving the adventures of sisters Anna and Elsa (voiced by Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, respectively) are among the biggest animated features of all time with a combined box office of $2.74 billion (P151 billion).
