The Click Five cancels Davao show; Manila, Cebu return still on
MANILA, Philippines — American rock band The Click Five (TC5) won't be making a first visit to Davao just yet after canceling its upcoming show in the King City of the South.
Playback Music Festival announced on Instagram despite numerous promotions that it decided to cancel the band's "For Lovers" Davao leg "due to unforeseen circumstances."
The USEP Gymnasium and Cultural Center performance on September 5 would have been TC5's first-ever concert in Davao.
The band is still set to perform in Quezon City's New Frontier Theater on August 25, followed by a concert in Cebu's Waterfront Grand Ballroom two days later.
However, after Cebu, TC5 will continue the Asia leg of its tour in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand before returning to the United States in October.
Playback assured that eligible ticket buyers will be updated via email regarding the status and processing of their refunds, which will be credited to the original mode of payment individuals used to purchase tickets.
Depending on the mode of payment and payment provider, refund processing may take around 45 to 90 banking days. Playback handled TC5's most recent shows in Manila and Cebu a year ago.
TC5 composed of guitarist Joe Guese, bassist Ethan Mentzer, and vocalist Kyle Patrick is best known for hit singles "Jenny," "Just the Girl," "Catch Your Wave," "Angel to You (Devil to Me)," "Pop Princess" and "Headlight Disco."
