MANILA, Philippines — Content creator Bryanboy hilariously teased that more branches of Swedish furniture company Ikea would be popping up around the Philippines.
Calling himself a "CEO of Ikea Philippines," Bryanboy detailed in a one-minute video some supposed future plans for the company.

"Actually 'onti lang nakakaalam, malaking sikreto 'to kasi hindi naman ako masyadong mayabang so hindi ko siya masyadong pinagmamalaki," Bryanboy said in the video. "Pero totoo ang balitang naririnig ninyo, yes it's true, it's me Bryanboy... CEO of Ikea Philippines!"
Bryanboy went on to give updates about his "small business," stating the fact that the branch in Pasay City is the brand's biggest store in the world and expressed his love for the Filipino employees.
After going around the many floors of the store, Bryanboy "announced" that more locations of Ikea Philippines would be opening.

Internet users went into a craze in the comments sections of Bryanboy's different social media accounts where the video was posted, with some suggesting the brand should open in Cebu, Davao, Baguio, Naga, Legazpi, Antipolo, Iloilo, Cavite, Daet, Cagayan de Oro, and SM Megamall.
The brand, however, clarified to Philstar.com that Christian Roejkjaer is the real CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Ikano Retail, which operates Ikea in the Philippines as well as in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Mexico.
Christmas with Ikea
What isn't a parody is the brand's furniture offerings that are friendly for those wanting to celebrate Christmas and need proper storage for their belongings or space to hold a party.
These include the VIMLE sofa series, the BESTÅ and KALLAX shelves, the DRÖNA and KUGGIS boxes (the latter fitting perfectly inside BESTÅ furniture), the EKEDALEN tables, and 365+ containers and utensils.

The label also has a Christmas furniture series with the VINTERFINT and STRALA collections — Christmas trees, decorations and trinkets, lamps and lights, dinnerware, baking essentials — that come in festive red, green, and white colors.
Kids can get a knack out of gifts with the space-themed AFTONSPARV collection, the hot air balloon-designed UPPTÅG storage boxes, the MÅLA art supply series, the LILLABO wooden railway sets, and the DUKTIG cooking play sets.
At its Swedish Restaurant and Cafe, the brand will be serving holiday treats in Rosemary Chicken with organic elk pasta and broccoli, Leche Flan Latte, and Pistachio Cake.
Capping off the treats are special offers, which include up to 20% off on BESTÅ storage systems and KUGGIS boxes until October 22 and 50% off on truck delivery fees (minimum purchase of P10,000) to any point in Luzon until November 5.
