'Boys Over Flowers' star Koo Hye Sun to finish college as summa cum laude

MANILA, Philippines — "Boys Over Flowers" star Koo Hye-sun is set to graduate as summa cum laude at 39 years old. 

The K-drama star posted her graduation photo with shots of her grades in Korean. 

As translated to English, the K-drama star said she is happy to graduate with high honors on February 23 from Sungkyungwan University. 

Reports said that Hye-sun is graduating with an impressive 4.27 grade point average (GPA). 

The actress took a break in 2019 after being embroiled in a highly publicized divorce from husband, actor Ahn Jae-hyun. A year later in June 2020, their divorce was finalized. 

They met while filming the 2015 drama "Blood" and married a year later in 2016.
