MANILA, Philippines — Filipina drag queen M1ss Jade So has fully established herself as a frontrunner on reality competition show "Drag Race Down Under vs. the World" after a third Top 2 finish in six episodes.

The spin-off special of "Drag Race Down Under," the Australian version of the US reality show "RuPaul's Drag Race," features several Australian drag queens face off against representatives from other international "Drag Race" editions.

Jade obtained her third badge of the season alongside British queen Michael Marouli after their hilarious acting maxi challenge, pretending to be in a drag version of "The X-Files," and jawdropping "Shock and Awe" runway looks.

The Filipina hit the runway with a creative alien-like outfit with a two-faced prosthetic head and appendages bursting out of her.

"I mean, how f***ing dare?! Again, week after week, it's just incredible," said judge and local comedian Rhys Nicholson, to which main judge and host Michelle Visage added Jade's look was "bonkers and just nuts."

Michelle also admitted being worried for Jade early on in the challenge but commended her funny commitment to the bit.

Guest judge and "RuPaul's Drag Race UK" Season 2 winner Lawrence Chaney praised Jade for matching Michael's acting chop "as if they've done comedy for years."

Michael, however, beat Jade in a lip sync battle of the United Kingdolls' "UK Hun?" to send home a third hometown bet Flor, whose time was marked by one badge but four Bottom 2 finishes.

Both Jade and Michael now have three badges, tying with perceived local frontrunner Art Simone. The other remaining queens are American artist LaLa Ri and another local bet Vybe, both with a badge each.

Next episode will be the semifinal round, where the five queens are tasked with a makeover challenge featuring Australian men.

The winner of "Drag Race Down Under vs. the World" will receive a crown and scepter, a one-year supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics, AUD$50,000 (P2.15 million), and the coveted "Queen of the Mothertucking World" title.

Jade previously finished joint third on the second season of "Drag Race Philippines," the finals of which historically had two other transwomen, including eventual winner Captivating Katkat.
