Rex Orange County returns to Manila for exclusive Asia show
MANILA, Philippines – Rex Orange County brings his music back to the Philippines as he graced the stage on August 20 at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Alexander O’Connor, widely known as Rex Orange County, captured Filipino fans’ hearts with his opening song, “Television,” followed by his hit songs “Amazing” and “The Shade.”
The 28-year-old English singer-songwriter also performed his major hits “Best Friend,” “Sunflower,” and “Happiness,” among others.
Rex Orange County also sang live his newly-released song “Indecision” for the first time — a song featuring Daniel Caesar, who also held a concert in Manila last May.
According to the singer, it was good to be back after three years, and he will no doubt return to the country again.
The artist last debuted in the Philippines at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on October 8, 2023.
The Exclusive Asia show in the Philippines was presented by Wilbros Live, featuring Filipino artist Maki and band Over October.
Rex is set to perform in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 23 as part of the LaLaLa Festival.
