MANILA, Philippines — Barbie Forteza gave a playful answer when asked about her dream wedding, saying she would love to get married in Las Vegas while wearing a Vera Wang gown.

During the grand mediacon for Regal Entertainment's upcoming film "Saving Cherry," Barbie was asked to describe her ideal wedding.

"Dream wedding ko? I wanna get married in Vegas. In Vera Wang. Para may divorce," she said.

Her candid response drew laughter from members of the media, with the actress making a reference to Nevada's divorce laws. Divorce remains unavailable for most couples in the Philippines.

Barbie's answer came as she discussed portraying a married woman for the first time in her acting career.

The actress revealed that "Saving Cherry" marks her most mature role to date, as the story delves into marriage and the complexities that come with it.

"And most of all, ito 'yung most mature role ko 'coz we will tackle about marriage, e," she said.

Unlike many of her previous characters, Barbie said her role begins with her already married.

"Ito 'yung role ko na kasal na ako agad-agad," she said.

She also described her character as the "wildest" she has portrayed, saying the role allowed her to explore a freer and more uninhibited side of herself.

Directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, "Saving Cherry" stars Barbie alongside Khalil Ramos, Mikee Quintos, Sassa Gurl, AC Bonifacio, JC Alcantara, and Mika Salamanca. The film explores the realities of love, marriage and relationships through a more mature and emotionally driven narrative.
