Palawan nagpa-party para sa UP
MANILA, Philippines — Nagdaos ang Palawan Group of Companies ng isang Champions’ Thanksgiving Dinner para parangalan ang UAAP Season 87 men’s basketball champions University of the Philippines.
“For both our company and the Fighting Maroons, success doesn’t come easy,” wika ni Bobby Castro, ang founder at chairman ng Palawan Group of Companies.
“You have to sacrifice, work hard, and overcome difficulties. Like in Game Two, we were beaten, but we rebounded and came back,” dagdag nito.
Tinalo ng Fighting Maroons ang La Salle Green Archers sa Game Three para tapusin sa 2-1 ang kanilang best-of-three titular showdown.
Nakipagdiwang din sina Angelita Castro, ang co-founder at Deputy Chairman ng Board, at Lilian Castro-Selda, ang Executive Vice President at Chief Financial Officer.
Noong Setyembre ay ni-renew ng Palawan Group ang kanilang partnership sa UP men’s, women’sat juniors’ basketball teams.
