Benefit gig at Conspiracy bar in QC this Saturday

MANILA, Philippines - Conspiracy Garden Café in Quezon City kicks off its month-long 10th anniversary celebration with a benefit gig led by musicians from Tacloban City, this Saturday night.

Aptly named “Tindog Tacloban”, the benefit gig aims to raise additional funds and other forms of assistance to the thousands of people affected by typhoon Yolanda.

The featured artists for the benefit gig, which starts at 9 p.m., include Rex Makabenta, Derek Delgado, Jake Hipe, Jed Dycoco, Monique Yu, and Dreadspot.

Ticket to the benefit gig is priced at P100 and comes with free mojito. Guests are also encouraged to bring school supplies and other donations for the displaced children of Eastern Visayas.

As part of its month-long anniversary celebration, Conspiracy Garden Café will also be serving free mojitos on selected gigs/dates:

  • December 13 with Joey Ayala
  • December 18 with Tres Marias (Lolita Carbon, Bayang Barrios and Cookie Chua)
  • December 20 with Joey Ayala

There will also be an art fair every Saturday afternoon of the month of December where the artists of ArtVentures@Conspi will sketch portraits for a small fee. Participating artists include Pablo Baen Santos, Antipas Delotavo, Dario Noche, Neil Doloricon, Egai Talusan, Eghai Roxas, Jonahmar Salvosa, Cynthia Diaz, and Mike Garcia among others. 

Conspiracy Garden Café was the recipient of this year’s Bar of the Year Award at the recently-concluded Salute for Indie Artists 2013 awards night hosted by BPO Radio, one of the country’s leading internet radio stations.

Conspiracy Garden Café is located at #59 Visayas Avenue, Quezon City.
