Joel Torre, Vilma Santos lead winners at 11th Golden Screen Awards

MANILA, Philippines - It’s a tie for Rustica Carpio and Vilma Santos for the Best Actress Award for Drama for the films “Ano ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap” and “Ekstra,” respectively, in the 11th Golden Screen Awards by the Entertainment Press Society (ENPRESS, Inc.).

Veteran actro Joel Torre took home the Best Actor Award for Drama for the film “On The Job.”

The Best Actress and Best Actor Awards for a Musical or Comedy went to Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz for “It Takes a Man and a Woman.”

Supporting Actress and Actor awards for Drama, Musical, or Comedy went to Angel Aquino for film “Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita” and Joey Paras for the film “Dance of the Steelbars.”

Meanwhile, “Transit” was awarded the Best Motion Picture for Drama, while “It Takes A Man and A Woman” was named Best Motion Picture for Musical or Comedy.

Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Marc Justine Alvarez then bagged home the Best Breakthrough Performance awards (male and female) for “Transit.”
