Bay releases Optimus Prime, Bumblebee character renders
MANILA, Philippines - Transformers director Michael Bay on Wednesday unveiled three renders of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee for the fourth film "Transformers: Age of Extinction."
The images were released three weeks before the new Transformers movie is shown in Philippine cinemas on June 25.
The new looks of the "robots in disguise" come with a new set of cast of the new movie led by Mark Wahlberg. The other lead cast members are Stanley Tucci, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammar and Sophia Myles.
The sequel happens four years after the catastrophic events in Chicago and Earth has mostly recovered from the great war between the Autobots and the Decepticons.
Optimus Prime had been "deactivated," but a struggling inventor, Cade Yeager played by Wahlberg, and his daughter Tessa (Peltz) discover the Autobots leader.
As the Decepticons plot to destroy Earth again, Optimus would hunt for the ancient Dinobots and align with them to save the planet.
