The battle of the good, the evil and the immortal in ‘I, Frankenstein’

MANILA, Philippines - Adam Frankenstein is caught in a war between two ancient clans who want to take the ultimate power over Earth.

Dr. Victor Frankenstein’s 200-year-old creation Adam, played by Aaron Eckhart, comes out of hiding and walks the modern times.

Yet as he resurfaces, the two clans — the gargoyles led by Queen Leonore (Miranda Otto) and the demons led by Naberius (Bill Nighy) — engage in a tug-of-war to persuade him to join them and to discover the secret to his immortality.

But as Adam chooses to save the human race, he puts his life in danger as well as the lives of the people he newly met and started to value.

Other members of the cast are Yvonne Strahovski, Socratis Otto, Jai Courtney, Kevin Grevioux, Steve Muzakis, Deniz Akdeniz, Virginie Le Brun, Aden Young and Goran Kleut.

Directed by Stuart Beattie, “I Frankenstein” will be in cinemas on January 24, 2014.
