'Need for Speed's' heart-pumping new trailer released

MANILA, Philippines - The new trailer of DreamWorks Pictures’ heart-pumping thriller "Need For Speed" has been released.

The new trailer gives movie lovers a sneak peek into how Tobey Marshall, played by "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul, runs over obstacles to take revenge on Dino Brewster played by Dominic Cooper of Captain America: The First Avenger.

British actress Imogen Poots also appears among the sporty street racing cars in this film directed by Scott Waugh ("Act of Valor").

“Need for Speed” marks an exciting return to the great car culture films of the 1960s and ’70s, tapping into what makes the American myth of the open road so appealing.

The story chronicles a near-impossible cross-country journey for our heroes—one that begins as a mission for revenge, but proves to be one of redemption.

An adaptation of Electronic Arts' popular video game franchise, “Need for Speed” will be a fast-paced, high-octane film extremely faithful to the spirit of the video game series. The cars are hot, the racing is intense and the story keeps players at the edge of their seat.

"Need for speed" opens in the Philippine in March 2014. It is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures.
