For Wilbert Ross, Bea Binene is ‘wife material’

MANILA, Philippines — When Wilbert Ross described his onscreen partner Bea Binene as “wife material” at the grand mediacon for Viva One’s “Love U Lots” at Robinsons Manila, fans went into a frenzy.

Wilbert first described Bea as “girlfriend material,” citing how caring she is, as well as being “very sweet and very family-oriented.”

He then added, “Kung ‘yun po ‘yung tanong, siguro itaas mo siya, umabot na sa wife material.”

Bea, for her part, praised Wilbert as someone who’s “very goal-oriented.”

The eight-episode series, ‘Love U Lots,’ is now streaming on Viva One, directed by Victor Villanueva, with new episodes released every Friday.

“Love U Lots” reunites Wilbert and Bea — dubbed WilBea by fans — after the successful run of “Golden Scenery of Tomorrow (GSOT),” one of  Viva One’s beloved University Series adaptations. The eight-episode series, “Love U Lots,” is now streaming on Viva One, directed by Victor Villanueva, with new episodes released every Friday.

The cast also includes Xia Vigor, Vito Quizon, Katya Santos, Janno Gibbs, DJ Durano, Candy Pangilinan and Migo Valid.

According to the media release, the series follows the story of Ysa (Bea), a talented painter living with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). She finds comfort in her art as she tries to understand herself, quietly hoping for a life where all parts of her can live in peace.

of his future, he unexpectedly meets Ysa, leading him down a path he never expected.

Their lives connect when one of Ysa’s valuable paintings goes missing. Wanting to help, Estong enters Ysa’s world and learns about her condition. What starts as a search for the painting turns into a journey of trust, understanding, and growing connection.

As Estong gets to know Ysa, he also meets her different personalities. Instead of pulling away, he accepts each one with care and sincerity. Over time, their bond deepens, and Estong realizes he is falling in love with all parts of Ysa.

But their love is not easy. Estong finds himself challenged as he faces a rival for Ysa’s heart while also beginning to rediscover his own dreams and direction in life. Meanwhile, Ysa must confront the return of her past and the personal struggles that come with it. Together, they must face these obstacles and prove if love can truly accept every part of a person or if what lies behind them will keep them apart.

Since the series is titled “Love U Lots,” the love team was asked how much they “love” each other in real life.

“There are different kinds of love. Matagal-tagal din po kaming magkasama sa ‘GSOT,’ nakilala namin yung isa’t isa and madami po kaming venture together. ‘Ano ba? Paano ko…?’ Of course, of course,” Wilbert said.

“Kung ano po yung sinabi niya,” Bea simply replied. “Marami din naman sigurong ways and definition of love but to be able to work with someone that you’re very confident with, I think that says something din naman po.”

When asked what makes them kilig and what qualities they look for in a special one, Wilbert and Bea shared their thoughts.

“Those small things. Nakakakilig yung maliit na bagay like knowing the person’s favorite food and favorite shows because you are giving time to know the person. ‘Alam mo pala yun, kung anong gusto ko.’ So parang nakakikilig yung nag-o-observe talaga. Yung mga bagay na nagpapasaya sa isang tao,” Wilbert said.

He added that the qualities he looks for in a girlfriend are someone who is caring, supportive and understanding.

Bea, meanwhile, said she values meaningful conversations and shared that she looks for a partner who is genuine, present and respectful.                                                                                                                                       “Yung parang alam mong hindi kayo mauubusan ng paguusapan and yung pareho kayong may matututunan sa isa’t isa kasi ang boring na parang, ‘What do you feel? What do you feel?’

“Gusto ko yung parehong may matututunan and kinikilig po ako kapag alam kong genuine yung tao and if he’s genuinely present as well. It’s something that I value. Siyempre yung may respeto, not just with me but my family as well.”
