Elisse Joson laughs off 'kabit' tag
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Elisse Joson answered a social media user's accusation that she is a "kabit" of a politician.
Instead of angrily responding, the actress just laughed off the allegation while happily sharing her new passion, horseback riding.
Elisse uploaded a video to her Instagram, where she can be seen practicing horseback riding.
“Oh what a memorable riding day with Luna girl,” Elisse wrote, referring to the horse.
“Learned how to canter, had my first fall, and somehow left loving this sport even more,” she added.
While many were impressed with her new adventure, one Instagram user chimed in and made a serious accusation.
“Si ante na makapag-flex e nangangabit lang naman ‘yan ngayon sa politician kaya nakakabili ng luho,” the user commented.
“Haha, not true,” Elisse replied.
This is not the first time that Elisse has had to clarify the said issue.
“Time to clear the air — not a kabit. Never was. 2026: minding my own business, building, and choosing peace,” Elisse posted back then.
“Leaving false narratives in 2025. Entering 2026 lighter,” she added.
Elisse's last relationship was with actor McCoy de Leon, who is the father of their daughter Felize.
They broke up last year.
