From ‘PBB’ to primetime: What to expect from CapEath’s debut series

A new love story is coming to Philippine television as GMA Public Affairs introduces the upcoming romantic series “You’re My Favorite Movie.”
The project will be headlined by Sparkle artists Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales, who are taking on their first starring roles in a TV series. The two are also known to fans as the rising duo “CapEath.”
Caprice and Heath first caught the public’s attention as housemates of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” where their chemistry was noticed early in the reality show.
Their sweet moments drew kilig from viewers and helped build their following as a pair.
Now, they are making the transition from reality TV personalities to lead actors, with their chemistry set to unfold in a full-fledged romantic narrative.
The series was announced on April 25, stirring excitement among fans who have followed the duo since their “Pinoy Big Brother” journey.
Joining them in the cast are fellow “PBB” alumni and co-Sparkle artists Marco Masa and Clifford, completing the youthful ensemble.
Behind the production is a creative team known for storytelling. The series is directed by JP Habac, best known for the acclaimed film “I’m Drunk, I Love You,” which explored love, timing and emotional vulnerability.
The concept of the upcoming series comes from Mark Ivan Caro, while the screenplay is written by Erwin Caezar Bravo, whose previous works include the primetime hits “Black Rider” and “My Ilonggo Girl.”
While plot details have yet to be revealed, the series is expected to center on romance, personal connections and possibly music.
“You’re My Favorite Movie” is set to air on GMA Network within the year, although an exact premiere date has yet to be announced.
