Rabiya Mateo, Jake Cuenca grace MUPH 2026 coronation
MANILA, Philippines — Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo and actor Jake Cuenca shared the stage earlier at the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night held in Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
Jake and Rabiya introduced the partner province of this year's pageant, Misamis Occidental.
The candidates explored the province to experience its beauty.
"Wow. Misamis Occidental. What a beautiful province," Jake said.
"And an inspiring community that truly reflects progress and pride," Rabiya added.
"Our hearts left. Thank you to the Province of Misamis Occidental for their continued support," Jake said.
"And its leadership for championing growth and the opportunity for their people," Rabiya added.
Jake and Rabiya's exposure came after the actor confirmed last month that they are exclusively dating.
Jake confirmed the rumored romance between him and Rabiya through the online showbiz program of talent manager and showbiz host Ogie Diaz.
“Yes, it’s true. It’s safe to say that she makes me really happy and we’re exclusively dating at the moment,” Jake confirmed in a text message to Loi Villarama.
Villarama is one of Ogie’s co-hosts in the show.
Jake was previously in a relationship with actress Chie Filomeno. They broke up last year. Rabiya, meanwhile, was dating actor Jeric Gonzales until they split last year.
