Enrique Gil finds rhythm in return to TV with Andrea Brillantes
MANILA, Philippines — Actor Enrique Gil revealed that it was refreshing to team up with Andrea Brillantes for the first time in their upcoming TV5 series "A Secret in Prague."
During the show's media conference yesterday, Enrique said that his life now feels like it was before.
“It feels good, it feels okay and alright. Actually, before the loveteam, sanay na po ako na lagi po akong pine-pair sa lahat usually, eh," he said.
“So, sanay na rin po akong, you know, iba-iba ‘yung ano. Pero medyo matagal lang kasi, eh, matagal bumalik ulit sa ganito, so parang nag-full circle ‘yung buhay ko, parang back to how it was before.
“So, it’s very refreshing po.”
Enrique also thanked his and Andrea's fans for their 100% support of their loveteam.
Enrique will play Mikoy, a hardworking and determined son and brother who flies to Prague to give his family a better life. Mikoy will face danger in Prague when a secret organization assigns him to guard the fierce and fearless daughter of a mafia, Chiara (Andrea).
“A Secret in Prague” is co-produced by Slingshot Studios (where Enrique is also a partner), written by Mark Duane Angos, and directed by Barry Gonzales and Paco Sta. Maria.
It will air from Monday to Friday, 8 p.m. on TV5 starting April 27 after the newscast “Frontline Pilipinas.”
