Christopher de Leon, Andrea Torres join Alden Richards in ‘Code Gray’

MANILA, Philippines — Alden Richards will be joined by a stacked lineup of co-stars, including one of his idols, in his upcoming medical drama on GMA-7.
The network unveiled the cast for the anticipated series yesterday across its social media platforms.
Christopher de Leon is among the seasoned stars set to join Alden in the show.
The award-winning actor told GMA News’ Nelson Canlas that his role in the upcoming drama is somewhat different from his previous portrayals of doctors.
“This one’s different, entirely different. Parang ano eh, medyo may pagka-Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I think,” Christopher said, referring to the popular literary character known for possessing dual personalities.
Alden, meanwhile, shared his excitement upon learning that he will be working with the seasoned star.
“I’m very excited. Of course, makakasama ko ang isa sa mga iniidolo kong artista na si Mr. Christopher De Leon finally for a project. First time namin mag-work together,” Alden said.
Romnick Sarmenta will also be part of the cast, along with singer Christian Bautista.
Other cast members revealed include GMA-7 stars Andrea Torres, Shuvee Etrata, Faith Da Silva, Kristoffer Martin, Allen Ansay and Jon Lucas.
Joross Gamboa, who starred with Alden in the two "Hello, Love, Goodbye" films, is also part of the cast.
GMA-7 has yet to share the release date and other production details of "Code Gray."
