Nikko Natividad apologizes amid viral video scandal
MANILA, Philippines — Actor Nikko Natividad broke his silence after his video scandal spread on social media.
Although he did not directly provide an explanation, Nikko posted a cryptic message that is believed to be his response to the issue.
“I’m sorry,” Nikko wrote on Instagram.
Aside from Nikko, actor-turned-politician Arron Villaflor, and actors Ron Angeles and Gil Cuerva are also involved in the controversy.
It can be recalled that Arron immediately denied the video and called it part of a smear campaign against him.
"It’s part of the political industry, so depende sa inyo on how you’re gonna react,” Arron said.
Meanwhile, Gil released a statement on his IG recently.
“The video being shared online was recorded without my knowledge or consent during a private moment,” he said.
“The use of a hidden camera and the distribution of that recording are serious violations of my privacy and constitute a crime,” he added.
Meanwhile, Ron uploaded a shirtless photo on Facebook with the caption: “Relax lang kayo diyan.”
