Will Ashley shares acting tips to 'PBB Collab' housemates
MANILA, Philippines — Will Ashley's years in front of the camera portraying different characters on TV and films made it easier for his fellow "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition" housemates to ask him for acting advice.
Will, after all, started as a child star, just like Xyriel Manabat. The two, along with their housemates, are set to lead the suspense drama "The Secrets of Hotel 88," another collaboration show between ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
It was no surprise that he and Xyriel were asked by Philstar.com if they were ever approached for acting tips by their housemates and co-stars.
“Well, kasi itong buong cast naman na ito ay very open. Kumbaga sa mga pagkakataong makakapagusap kami ay napag-uusapan talaga naming 'yung trabaho namin. Nakakatuwa,” Will started.
“May mga nabibigay naman akong tips, let's say, sa mga napulot ko sa mga past shows na nagawa ko and natutuwa din ako kasi may mga napupulot din akong mga bago from them. Nakakatuwa kasi give and take talaga kami dito,” he added.
Xyriel confirmed that it was a collaborative effort for all of the cast of the show.
“The Secrets of Hotel 88” is a suspense-filled series headlined by the breakout stars of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.” The series premieres on GMA Prime beginning March 2 at 9:35 p.m., following its early digital debut on iWant on February 23.
Apart from Will and Xyriel, the show also stars their edition's big winners Mika Salamanca and Brent Manalo, alongside fellow housemates Klarisse De Guzman, Ralph De Leon, River Joseph, Esnyr Ranollo, Josh Ford, Kira Balinger, AZ Martinez, Dustin Yu, and Bianca De Vera. The Star Creatives-produced series is directed by Henry Quitain.
At the heart of the story are the Fernandez brothers — Gio (Brent), Martin (Ralph), and Francis (Will) — who are unexpectedly reunited following the mysterious death of the father they never knew. Their lives collide when they inherit Hotel 88, a once-grand property haunted by unresolved conflicts and long-buried secrets.
Their claim, however, is quickly challenged by the influential Almazan family, led by Luna Almazan (Mika), Leon Almazan (River), Jade Almazan (Bianca), and Justin Almazan (Josh), who assert their own stake in the historic hotel. What follows is a tense battle of loyalty, power, and truth, where shifting alliances and hidden revelations threaten to destroy both families.
As tensions rise between the Fernandezes and the Almazans, viewers will discover how Sari (AZ), Edward (Dustin), Raphie (Esnyr), Monette (Klarisse), Cheska (Xyriel), and Trixie (Kira) become deeply entwined in the lives of both families — each with personal stories and hidden agendas that reveal what truly brought them to Hotel 88.
The series also features industry veterans Dominic Ochoa, Gardo Versoza, and Ina Raymundo.
