MANILA, Philippines — SexBomb member Izzy Trazona made public her message to her trans child Andrei “Sofia” Trazona after the latter’s tweet went viral.

Izzy posted on Facebook early Wednesday a screenshot of their conversation. The SexBomb dancer said that she initially did not want to make their private messages public but decided to share it for clarification.

Sofia’s message to her mother read as published: “i’m so happy and proud of you!! inspite of everything you still sticked to what you know is right. Naiiyak lang ako na nakita ko na nasa concert ka with your friends.”

Izzy replied: “salamat anak by His strength always. I miss you! Continue to be strong praying for you always. Mag-ingat ka palagi. I love you.”

Izzy was present at the fourth reunion concert of SexBomb held last February 7 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. She was not present at the previous reunion concerts held last December.

Sofia replied that she misses and prays for her mother. She ended it with an “I love you too” message.

On February 9, Sofia tweeted on X that she and Izzy no longer see each other. She said that she was afraid that when she is seen as a transwoman, she will receive a different reaction. She added that she does not want to go back to that “dark place” when the issue broke out in the past.

A follower replied that she should not have tweeted about it.

Sofia clarified in a retweet: “dear don’t misinterpret the tweet… ang sinabi ko is di na kami nagkikita and pag nakita niya ako na tranel na natatakot ako nabaka iba 'yung reception na mareceive ko. but it doesn’t mean na di ako nag tatry mag reach out…”
