‘Laguna Diva’ is grand champion in Korean singing show ‘Veiled Cup’

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino singer Arabelle Dela Cruz outsang contestants from nine countries, including her fellow Sparkle artists, to emerge as the grand champion of the first international edition of the South Korean singing show “Veiled Cup.”
Sparkle announced Arabelle’s triumph in an Instagram post on Sunday, February 1.
The runner-up of “The Clash 2025” beat her other Sparkle artists, Garrett Bolden and Thea Astley, in the show.
The show’s format features a similar format to the Korean show “Veiled Musician,” where contestants perform behind a veil and are only known by their nicknames and hometowns. Arabelle was known as the “Laguna Diva” in the show.
The show is presented by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) and hosted by actress Lee Da-hee.
