Rita Daniela no longer friends with Ken Chan
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Rita Daniela hopes that her former love team partner Ken Chan will be able to surpass his current situation.
The actress was asked about Ken by entertainment site Pep, with whom she shared that she no longer has any communication with the actor who is on showbiz hiatus.
"No, I don't. We're not friends anymore," she said.
Their former closeness as best friends might no longer be true, but Rita is sad with Ken's alleged involvement in a syndicated estafa case.
"Definitely, of course. He was my best friend. He was a very special person to me," she said.
"But, yeah... I hope na maging okay din siya, you know. And his whole family niya. I'll pray for him," she added.
Rita said she was surprised about what happened to Ken because she did not expect it.
"When I knew it. Yeah. Beause that's something na parang... Well, because I thought I knew him, you know?" she said.
"But I don't know kasi feeling ko, kahit malaman ko rin naman nang maaga, makakatulong ba ako? Parang hindi na naman din ata.
"So, I think the best thing that I can do for him right now is just to pray for him. That's all. That's it. That's all. Pray lang talaga. 'Yun 'yung pinakatulong na puwede na natin magagawa."
