Willie Revillame is back in his element with ‘Wilyonaryo’
Willie Revillame has long established himself as an engaging TV host. His followers will once again see that in his latest game show titled “Wilyonaryo,” which premieres on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. on the wilyonaryo.com.
Viewers are promised an entertaining program with the game called “Wilpick,” giving them the chance to win cash prizes and become a millionaire if Lady Luck is on their side.

To herald his hosting and entertainment industry comeback, Willie recently graced the game show’s grand press conference.
And one could simply feel his happiness at being again in that familiar creative path.
But, in case you don’t know, Willie was a drummer-musician and an actor before he dabbled in hosting.
“Dati meron (there were offers before),” said he about the possibility of doing movie acting during the media call, “kami ni Boss Vic, nag-usap kami nyan na gagawa sana (I and Boss Vic del Rosario of Viva Films were talking and hoping to do one).”
“Ang hirap na rin kasing magpuyat at tapos sabi ko nag-co-concentrate talaga ako (it’s also tough to stay up late, and I’m really concentrating on hosting my show), and it’s a daily show,” added he, who, like everybody else, tries to take care of his health and well-being.
“Kung may pagkakataon na may magandang project (at) maayos, eh, siguro paminsan-minsan (if there’s an opportunity for a nice project, maybe I will consider it and do it sometimes),” shared he.
After all, hosting a game show is his strong suit.
“Wilyonaryo” is a continuation of his work that had its beginnings back on ABS-CBN in 2005 with “Wowowee” and then on TV5, from 2010 to 2013, in “Willing Willie-Wowowillie.” After, he took a breather and found a new home on GMA 7 with “Wowowin” in 2015. The show also aired on ALLTV.
With these shows that have displayed his brand of entertainment, Willie is thankful to fans and network executives who appreciate and believe in his talent.
Since his birthday is on Jan. 27, he was also asked to look back on his successful showbiz career, also reflecting on any regrets in life.
“Wala kasi sobrang blessed ‘ko, eh (I don’t have any since I’m very blessed),” said he. “Ang mga regrets ko siguro yung, well, mga pagkakamali (maybe my regrets are the mistakes I’ve made), pero hindi ka naman pu-pwedeng maging perpekto sa buhay (but you can’t be perfect in life). Laging may pagkakamali sa buhay mo. So, it’s a learning process.”
And what he also considers happiness are having good health and being with his children and family.
The game show host was also asked about his net worth, and Kuya Wil shared, “It’s not about how much, but it’s about how you work, the hard work (you put in).”
In a quick chat with The STAR, Willie shared his secret to success.
“God-fearing ka (be God-fearing). ‘Pag God-fearing ka, i-gu-guide ka (if you are, He will guide you),” said he.
“Atsaka humihingi ako ng tulong sa Kanya to guide me (And I ask His help to guide me). Gabayan Niya ako araw-araw, tama ang gagawin ko, ‘wag akong maliligaw ng landas (that He will guide me every day, that I will do the right thing and I won’t go astray),” added he.
“Kung nagkamali ako, patawarin Niya ako, (if I make a mistake, I’m asking for His forgiveness).”
“Pero ako talaga, hindi ako nag-iisip na mag-take advantage kahit kanino (but for me, I don’t take advantage of others and) there’s always forgiveness and love in your heart, that’s it,” concluded he.
