Toni Gonzaga clears air on ‘power couple’ marital issue
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Toni Gonzaga responded to a social media user’s question asking if she and husband Paul Soriano are the "power couple" facing marital issues.
During her TikTok live, social media users flooded her with questions about the issue.
“Do not waste time sa mga nonsense, okay. It’s a waste," Toni said.
"Ang mga waste dapat i-flush sa CR, okay?… just like 'yung mga ibang katanungan ng mga tao dito na walang silbi ang pupuntahan ng mga ganyang questions,” she added.
Social media has been on the hunt for answers about the power couple's issue after Insider PH published the blind item.
Kapuso couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, as well as Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado, already denied that it was them.
It will be recalled that Paul said in 2022 that Toni was probably the most powerful celebrity.
"You know, honestly, outside looking in, if I can step back and just, you know, from a perspective of not being her husband, or her producer or her director… And just outside looking in, I really believe Toni is probably the most powerful celebrity today,” Paul said.
"Only because the criticisms and the hate that she’s getting are from equally powerful people, too. You don’t rattle relevant people if you’re not doing something better than them, 'di ba? And you know, of course, you know, I’m her husband, and I’m extremely proud of her. She’s also one of the strongest people I know, right,” he added.
