MANILA, Philippines — Streaming platform Netflix will close its chapter on hit series "Stranger Things" with a documentary on how the show's fifth and final season was shot.

"One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5" will give an inside look at the years of work that went into the popular series created by the Duffer Brothers.

Netflix described the documentary as a "sweeping behind-the-scenes chronicle that follows the cast, creators, and crew as they bring the final season to life — and say goodbye to the show that changed them forever."

Emmy-winning cinematographer Martina Radwan sat in the director's chair expressed her gratitude to Ross and Matt Duffer for their trust in helming the project.

"Spending a full year on set with them was a true privilege — and an absolute thrill," Radwan told Netflix's companion site Tudum. "Being able to get close and watching them bring this beloved show to life in real time was pure joy."

Radwan, in fact, wished she had the chance to document the previous four seasons as the cast and their long-time collaborators welcomed her generously and openly shared their decade-long experiences.

"The Duffers always push boundaries and inspire everyone to be better, including myself. Their process and the show represent everything I love about filmmaking," Radwan added.

The Duffers credited the behind-the-scenes documentaries for the "Lord of the Rings" franchise and the efforts director Peter Jackson went to create those films.

"If you love 'Stranger Things,' or if you're simply curious how a major Hollywood production comes to life, this one's for you," said the twin brothers.

A trailer for the documentary shows clips from production of the final season intertwined with interviews with the Duffers.

"Writing the last lines these characters would ever say, it was really hard to do," Matt says in the trailer, followed by a scene at the final table read where many shed tears. "I remember more than anything just writing 'End Series.' Writing those two words having the biggest impact."

Among the clips — set to David Bowie's "Heroes" — was a discussion on how to handle the fate of Millie Bobby Brown's Eleven, which is ultimately left to fans to decide the outcome.
