Miley Cyrus, Maxx Morando engaged after 4 years of dating
MANILA, Philippines — Congratulations are in order for pop singer Miley Cyrus following her engagement to fellow artist Maxx Morando.
The couple's engagement was hinted during their appearance on the red carpet for the premiere of "Avatar: Fire and Ash," where Miley sported a thick gold and diamond ring.
Miley contributed to the upcoming film in James Cameron's blockbuster franchise with a new original song "Dream As One."
Sources later confirmed to entertainment outlets Page Six and People that Miley and Maxx were indeed engaged, and Maxx's father even posted a congratulatory message on social media.
Jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche, through her representative Francesca Consulting, told both outlets she customized the "chunky" 14-karat yellow gold band and its cushion-cut stone.
The two artists were linked together in 2021 after what Miley described was a blind date from her end, going public a year later.
Miley was previously married to actor Liam Hemsworth from 2018 to 2020.
Maxx — who helped Miley on two of her albums — was previously a member of the The Regrettes and is currently part of the band Liily.
