SexBomb Aira, Aifha react to comparison with BINI as 'Nation's Girl Group'
MANILA, Philippines — SexBomb dancers Aira Bermudez and Aifha Medina earned praises when they shared their honest thoughts on who deserves the "Nation's Girl Group" title between them and P-pop group BINI.
The two members of the popular 2000s sing-and-dance group sat with Boy Abunda, where they were asked the nagging question by fans of Filipino girl groups.
"Madalas ikinu-compara kayo sa BINI. May netizen na nagsabi, mas deserve niyo raw ang titulong 'Nation's Girl Group.' You are the pillars of P-pop. Reaksyon?" Boy read a question from a popular online forum.
Aira said that they deserve to be tagged with the title at their peak, but BINI is currently having their time as the most popular girl group.
“Siguro noong time namin, deserve namin. Pero time ng BINI ngayon, we have to respect that,” Aira said.
"Parang lahat tayo may timing sa buhay. Saka nire-represent nila 'yung country natin so we have to be proud," she added.
Aifha agreed, “Ibigay na natin sa kanila ‘yon. Hindi po kami nakikipag-compete."
