Min Bernardo defends daughter Kathryn against fake quotes
MANILA, Philippines — Min Bernardo called out fake quotes attributed to her daughter Kathryn Bernardo.
The celebrity mother shared Star Magic's statement on Instagram regarding the fake quotes.
"Please stop using my daughter’s name or image on your platform, especially if the stories you share are not true/spliced," Min said.
"Ang isang kwento, 'pag dinagdagan o binawasan ng kahit isang salita, naiiba ang kahulugan, at nagiging FAKE NEWS… Don’t twist the story para lang dumami ang viewers n'yo," she added.
Min said that as a mother, it pained her to see her daughter being bashed on social media.
"It’s UNFAIR. We’ve endured in silence for so long because of dagdag-bawas at pag-twist ng kwento, but silence means we agree with what is being said," he said.
"Remember, as a mother, there’s a LIMIT to how much pain and silence one can bear," she added.
A Facebook page posted: “KATHRYN BERNARDO NANAWAGAN NA TUMULONG NANG TAOS-PUSO AT HINDI PARA SA CAMERA O SOCIAL MEDIA."
