Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin share hardships shooting 'Shake, Rattle & Roll'
MANILA, Philippines — Love team partners Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz admitted that they are having a hard time shooting the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Shake Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins" and their ABS-CBN series "Sins of the Father."
Seth and Francine, also known as FranSeth to their fans, are shooting the two projects at the same time because MMFF is just a month away from its regular opening on Christmas Day, December 25.
“Yes po, opo. Ligo, tapos sa kotse matutulog, pagdating sa shooting, mag-aayos na. Minsan sa set o sa standby, parehas kaming tulog,” Seth told the media during the pocket media conference of the movie.
“Nakahilata kaming ganu’n (illustrates their sleeping position). Minsan nag-uusap kami sa eksena. Kasi tulog kami kapag walang eksena, eh. So, kapag may eksena du’n kami nakakapag-usap,” he added.
He, however, said that they are having fun shooting the latest movie from the popular Filipino horror franchise.
“Pero sobrang saya habang ginagawa namin itong 'SRR.' Una, Gen Z kaming lahat, ‘yung buong cast, Gen Z kami so kwentuhan habang nasa standby kami, may mga kulitan. So, swak na swak,” he said.
“Gaya po nu’ng sinabi ni Seth, totoo pong mahirap. Actually, draining po sya, in a way, kasi demanding siya physically at sa emotional needs," Francine added.
“Pero, masaya po kami kasi parang sabihin na namin, ang saya rin pala ma-experience ‘yung sobrang busy ka, ‘yung hindi ka na nakakatulog. Mahirap siya pero masaya kasi alam mong blessed ka, alam mong binibigyan ka ng biyaya at ang sarap lang din nu’n alagaan."
Despite the hardships, Francine said that they appreciate what they are learning from the experience.
“Pero gaya nga rin po ng sinabi ko kanina, mas naa-appreciate namin pareho ‘yung mga natututunan namin at sa proseso nu'ng ginagawa namin ‘yung parehong proyekto, 'Sins of the Father' at 'Shake, Rattle & Roll,'" she said.
“Kasi ang dami namin, minsan kami na nakakakita nu’ng mali namin, kami na ‘yung nagsa-suggest kung pwede ba ‘yung ganito ganyan or nagta-tanong kami. Siguro mas nagiging collaborative kami in terms of kung ano ‘yung ikagaganda ng kwento,” she added.
