Daniel Padilla airs frustration over corruption
MANILA, Philippines — Actor Daniel Padilla expressed his frustration over corruption in the country.
The actor reposted a carousel of quote and art cards by a page called Hacktibista.
“Bakit ang mga lumalaban sa korapsyon ang hinuhuli, at hindi ang mga mismong korap?” read the quote card.
The reposted post lists down the personalities who were arrested instead of the corrupt. These include the September 21 rallyists, student leaders, a graffiti artist, Cebu protesters accused of damaging goverment property, and a Halloween reveler who was summoned over wearing a police costume.
The post contains a live countdown that tracks 100 days and 14 hours since the SONA was delivered last July.
It also contains soundbytes from personalities who have expressed the same sentiments on the issue, as well as a news article and news clip on the damage inflicted by Typhoon “Tino” (Kalmaegi) in Cebu.
