‘Unmasking the Lady in Silver’: 'Bridgerton 4’ sets dates for 2-part 2026 release

MANILA, Philippines — The masquerade ball unfolds in the first quarter of 2026 when Sophie Baek meets her prince, Benedict Bridgerton.
The highly anticipated Cinderella love story will be released in two parts: the first part will stream on Jan. 29, 2026, while the second part will be released on Feb. 26, 2026.
The fourth season will feature eight episodes.
This season follows the love story between the illegitimate daughter of an earl, Sophie (Yerin Ha), who crosses paths with one of the remaining eligible bachelors of the Ton, Benedict (Luke Thompson).
Their love story loosely follows the events of Julia Quinn’s third book, “An Offer from a Gentleman.”
The adaptation is loosely based on Quinn’s books on the Bridgerton family set in an alternate Regency London. The Bridgertons’ romances, travails and tribulations are the focus of each of the books in the series.
“The storyline is a bit of a twist on Cinderella. You remember being told those stories as a child — the magic and the romance of them. It’s really exciting to have that woven into the world that we know of Bridgerton … It’s such a great story, but it’s also, I hope, really relatable,” Thompson said in a statement.
The love story of the Lady in Silver and the artistic Bridgerton follows the romances explored in the first three seasons of the show.
