Bimby Aquino-Yap continues singing lessons
MANILA, Philippines — Kris Aquino revealed that her son Bimby is now taking singing lessons.
The host-actress is a proud mother who posted a video of Bimby singing Willie Revillame's "Ikaw Na Nga."
"This video is about my two boys. And why I’m fighting for them. My 18 year old has for now decided to continue with his singing lessons with coach Thor (plus some super star 'titos' who have volunteered to teach him about stage presence and how to make audience rapport fun for all)," Kris wrote on her Instagram caption on Sunday.
"From the time he was 11, he’s been my companion every time I’ve had to been put to sleep for the numerous procedures I have undergone. A singing doctor — thank you hunny for being the embodiment of what mama had wished for," she added.
Bimby said last April that he decided not to join showbiz and just focus on studying and taking care of his mom.
In his new interview with Ogie Diaz, Bimby thanked the online showbiz host and talent manager for waiting for his foray into showbiz.
“Thank you po talaga for waiting for me to enter showbiz,” he said.
When asked if he will go back to school, Bimby said: “School muna, taking care of mama, next year college na ako, Tito Ogie, I’m old na."
Bimby said that he will take up Legal Management for college.
