Maki apologizes for blocking fans' view at TWICE concert

MANILA, Philippines — Singer Maki apologized to TWICE fans after being called out for standing in the seated section of the K-pop girl group's weekend concert at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Maki apologized for the weekend incident that has now become viral.
“Before this day ends, I just want to tell everyone behind us during the concert that I sincerely apologize also [on] behalf of my siblings. If I could go back and undo it, I would,” he tweeted on X.
“The least thing that I want to happen is to take someone else’s moment during the concert just so we could enjoy. It really wasn’t our intention and we got too excited,” he added.
The "Dilaw" hitmaker said that it was his first time to attend a K-pop concert but said that it was not an excuse.
“Not that it’s an excuse, but it really is our first time to this K-pop concert culture since we’ve never been in any na we really know all the dance and songs," he said.
"It was our dream to go there, and I know it’s also yours, too. I’m really sorry. Best believe, next time around, it will not happen again. I promise,” he added.
Maki's apology came after X user Rae posted a photo of the singer's companion blocking her view.
